Upcoming trips and travel opportunities from Northwest Ski Council Club and Far West Ski Association

La Niña snow season is upon us!  La Niña brings big snow to the North. Here in the Oregon Cascades we will most likely have a wet winter, and some of that moisture will be in the form of snow.

Thank you to those who answered the Winter Sports survey. Information from that survey is being used to plan snowshoe, downhill, and cross-country events throughout the winter. Dates will be set in early November and we will send an email to the interest group as soon as we have them up. In the meantime, check your car out for winter driving; studded snow tires will be legal on Nov. 1. Buy a SnoPark permit. Even if you don’t plan to go to any snow parks, the money helps keep the roads clear.

Our partner ski clubs have trips too. Your Altair membership includes reciprocal memberships with these clubs.  Check these out online at https://nwskiers.org/trips
