Tom Arnold will lead this ride. This is a moderate level 20 mile ride.
Meet at 10:00 AM at the US Post Office in Lorane (80255 Territorial Highway). The intersection of Lorane Hwy and Territorial Hwy is known as Gillespie Corners. Drive to Gillespie Corners and then drive another 5.7 miles on Lorane Highway to the Post Office. The 20-mile ride is on a two-lane county road, with light traffic and rolling hills & a cumulative 580' gain in each direction, is considered moderate and takes approximately 1 hr/25 min. We will stop at the falls in Siuslaw Falls County Park for so bring whatever you would enjoy for lunch as we'll have a 30 minute layover to eat, explore the falls & river, enjoy the quiet forest setting. Beautiful ride there and back, quiet respite from the city, so no need to rush it.

Registration is required
Check tires for air and any mechanical issues before each ride.
Helmuts and water are essential.
Carry medical and emergency contact information on the ride.
Wear bright or reflective clothes.
Turn on the bike light while riding on the highway.
Carry a spare tire tube and pump.
Do not take or make phone calls while riding. If necessary, stop.
Keep all riders in rearview mirrors.
Alert the leader if you need to leave the ride.
The leader should appoint a tail gunner for the back of the group.
